Pieces of Us Jewelry specializes in creating meaningful keepsake jewelry using your most treasured materials. Your piece can include:
Breastmilk
Cremation ashes
Hair or fur
Umbilical cord
Burial soil
Fabric or clothing
Dried flowers from funerals, weddings, or bouquets
Sand or earth from meaningful locations
Baby teeth or other small keepsakes

Can I include multiple materials in one piece?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Many customers choose to combine inclusions such as breastmilk and hair, ashes and flowers, or multiple children's milk into one stone.

If you're unsure what will work best, feel free to message me and we can design something meaningful together.

What is your turnaround time?

Accepted Answer

Each piece is handmade and customized just for you. Turnaround time is typically 6–10 weeks from the time your inclusions are received. During busy seasons it may vary slightly, but I always work as quickly as possible while ensuring your keepsake is perfect.

Do you offer gift cards?

You can purchase a gift card for yourself or as a gift!  Gift cards purchased for someone else will be sent to whatever email address you input at checkout.

What are the payment options?

We accept Credit Cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, and now have the "buy now, pay later" options with Affirm** and AfterPay. **Payment options through Affirm are subject to eligibility, may not be available in all states, and are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. CA residents: Loans by Affirm Loan Services, LLC are made or arranged pursuant to a California Finance Lenders Law license.

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of the items, I do not offer refunds or returns after the order is placed, as each piece is 100% custom made for you. Of course, I want you to love your keepsakes. If there is ever an issue, message me personally and we will figure it out together. Replacements: Setting - If it has been longer than 30 days and you need a replacement setting (for any reason), there is a 25% + shipping replacement charge (excluding 14k gold items). Stone - if you decide you want to go a different route with your stone or need a replacement stone and do not need a new setting, there will be a $25 charge per item, plus return shipping.

How do I ship my inclusions?

Directions can be found in the Store Policies: https://www.piecesofusjewelry.com/copy-of-store-policies. You'll also be sent an email with detailed instructions on how to label and where to send your inclusions. Please note that the turnaround time starts once I receive the inclusions.

Do you offer local pickup/drop off?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  I am in Plain City, Ohio - if you're local, you are 100% welcome to select that option while checking out.  Please note, however, that you are dropping off, my schedule doesn't really allow for me to "meet" you out and about to exchange inclusions.  Please plan to drive to my house to drop off your inclusions.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes - we ship orders for free in the United States over $125.

Do you offer international shipping?

Accepted Answer

Yes - we ship all over the world!  Please note that we have an $18 USD charge for international shipping, AND your country may charge you import fees and taxes when you accept an international piece of mail from the US!  Check with your country’s postal service to be sure.

Do you have photos of the Flakes, Glitters, and Tints?

Yes!  If you scroll to the item(s) you want, the photos of all the additives are in the album of each piece!

How do I know what size ring to purchase?

Accepted Answer

You MUST select a ring size for your purchase to be approved.  You can visit any jeweler, or any store with a jewelry counter.  You can also scroll to my collections, and in the "other" category, a reusable ring sizer is available.  I will send out as soon as your order is processed so you can size your ring and place your order.

Can your rings be resized?

Ideally, no.  You can order a "ring spacer" off amazon to help size your ring.  However, if you take your ring to be sized from a jeweler, please tell them that your stone is made with a jewelers resin, and they should proceed with care.  You take on all liability to your ring if you take it to be professionally resized.

What happens to my leftover preserved milk?

I will save your preserved milk for a minimum of 2 years!  If you've had a piece made in the last 2 years, please reach out to me to verify I have your milk.  If so, you will not need to resend any additional milk!

Your piece can include breastmilk, cremation ashes, hair, umbilical cord, burial soil, cloth, baby teeth, flowers, sand, or other meaningful materials. Will my stone change color over time?

Your inclusions are professionally preserved and sealed in jeweler’s resin. When properly cared for, your piece will remain beautiful for years. Like all jewelry, avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals, lotions, or water, or sunlight.
